A huge portion of the Kpop fans community, specifically the ARMY’s, have recently rejoiced with the release of the exclusive Kpop group BTS and fastfood giant McDonald’s collaboration meal, or called the McDonald’s BTS Meal.
Nuggets are among the food included in the special BTS meal. Served inside a purple packaging, the special meal quickly sold and received a lot of orders. Such a case is most probably the reason why this bizarre shaped nugget is sold at a hefty price in an online auction recently.
A nugget shaped like an Among Us character recently made abuzz online after it was sold for a whopping $99,997, shipping fee excluded. The Among Us shaped nugget was listed on eBay, where it was first priced at only $0.99
User Polizna first posted about it on the 28th of May, describing it as an “authentic Among Us shaped Chicken McNugget that originated from a BTS Combo meal”, noting that it is not only shaped very much like an Among Us character crewmate, but it was also formerly part of the most sought after BTS Meal.
For two days, the nugget went unnoticed until someone placed an initial bid of $14,969. From there, the chicken nugget received more bids, which eventually reached 184. The bidding finally stopped when someone placed a hefty bid of $99,997.
The unique chicken nugget was frozen and was air sealed so that the new owner would receive it in the freshest condition possible.
The jaw-dropping bidding immediately caught crazy attention online and received various reactions to the bizarre auction. It became the talk of the internet for days with netizens debating whether the nugget was special because of its shape or because of being formerly part of a special meal.
Correspondingly, even the Official Among Us twitter account recognized the bizarre auction and posted a tribute to the auction winner.

“Here is a cursed tribute to a strange week, may the winner be blessed by the bean form forever,” posted the official twitter account of Among Us.
